HSN Unveils New Whitney Houston Fragrance
Through HSN, Houston’s estate has unveiled a brand-new eau de perfume. According to the description, Houston’s “luminous charisma, warmth, and enthusiasm for life” served as the inspiration for the fragrance, which is said to make wearers “feel inspired and confident like Whitney, who has always pushed women to embrace the greatest love for themselves.” Fans may buy the new fragrance in 3.4 oz size for $79 or in a set with a body lotion for $59.95. It’s clear that Houston’s estate gave the packaging a lot of care. The perfume is simply called “Whitney,” and it comes in a purple box—her favorite color—with a beautiful picture of Houston singing on the front. Her handwritten signature is visible around the box’s top. The American Music Award trophy, which Houston won 22 times during her career, is shaped like the crystal cap on the bottle topper.
According to HSN, the fragrance has amber foundations as well as notes of gardenia, jasmine, ylang-ylang, pear, and citrus. The business claims they collaborated with the singer’s estate to identify her “signature scent,” which was a blend of “fruity, sparkling florals” and a “warm, woody dry down.”

Houston’s estate has previously entered the cosmetics market. The estate announced an upcoming beauty collaboration with MAC Cosmetics in September 2021.
