Kate Middleton’s Hospital Visit

Kate’s first solo engagement following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II involved a visit to a maternity unit at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. She chatted with the Jasmine Team, which helps women before and after the delivery of their children who are dealing with mental illness. Kate also went to the facility that looks after premature babies, the Special Care Baby Unit.

According to the Princess of Wales, it’s critical to look after your needs so that you may look after others. Every so often, people say things like, “I don’t have time,” or “My children come first,” but if you can be your best self, you are actually helping your child, according to Kate.

Being a mother, according to Kate, is filled with “pleasure, weariness, love, and concern.” She observes how a mother’s identity transforms almost instantly and how the emphasis switches from being an individual to someone responsible for the care of another. Kate also speaks on the pressure some parents experience to be “perfect” in her speech.

It’s acceptable to not find it simple, Kate explains. Furthermore, seeking assistance should not be viewed as a show of weakness. Our children depend on us to take care of ourselves and obtain the help we require.
