Jessica Alba Once Revealed That Turning 30 Was Hard And Made Her Angry
Leaving her twenties behind was difficult for the actress at first.

What Jessica Alba Didn’t Like About Being In Her 20s

In retrospect, there were some aspects of her 20s that Alba despised. In a 2017 interview with Pop Sugar, the Sin City star reflected briefly on that era in her life. One of the most difficult obstacles a younger Alba faced was her inability to live in the now.

“I feel like I was constantly thinking about tomorrow and what I wanted to be and what I could be or what I should be in my 20s, and now I’m just satisfied with who I am,” she added.

Alba felt that she should have rested more in her 20s and that she didn’t. As the years passed, she came to see that this was crucial.

Sleeping well and eating healthfully are more crucial than you might realize. In my twenties, I barely slept at all. I put in a lot of work,” she remarked.

Why Did Jessica Alba Say Turning 30 Was Hard

Why Did Jessica Alba Say Turning 30 Was Hard: Alba wasn’t really excited to reach 30. She admitted that a few factors contributed to an awful experience on her 30th birthday. Additionally, it didn’t help that she was expecting one of her daughters.

She once said to Marie Claire, “I was quite pissed off.” “I have no idea why it was so difficult; it was. First and foremost, I wanted to celebrate like a rock star because I was pregnant. Before I was 30, I didn’t even realize I cared about my 20s.

These emotions were fleeting. In the end, the Fantastic Four actor discovered that transitioning into her 30s was, in some respects, more satisfying than being in her 20s.

However, my favorite birthday was 33. Everything just fell into place for me as I found my groove. And despite all the hardship, uncertainty, worry, and burden that brought me here, I felt good about it. I think I’m progressing, she remarked.

Alba even thought that being in her 30s made her appear better.

She said, “I think I physically came into my own in my 30s, even though I’d had kids.” I’ve actually shrunk in size as a result of how things now hang. But I don’t have such a girly face, and I feel more like a lady. I had cheeks that were so full. And I’ve learned how to apply makeup. It was only powder back then. Lots of powder.

How Jessica Alba Handled Turning 40

Alba found turning 40 to be far less difficult than turning 30. So much so that the Fantastic Four actor found it odd how she felt about approaching that age.

“It’s really strange because when you’re a kid, you’re like, ‘That age just feels aggressive,'” Alba explained on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “You just think, ‘That’s a grown-up person.'”

Alba, on the other hand, did not take turning 40 lightly.

“And then you get here and you’re like, ‘I guess this is what it is,'” she explained. “You know you have so much more life to live out there.” Everything seems to be coming together in a really cool way.”
