MCDONALD’S is slashing the price of two popular menu items – but be careful before you order because there’s a catch.
The fast food giant is a popular choice for people on the go, and and has more than 1,200 restaurants in the UK.

McDonald’s has gained a loyal army of fans who flock to the restaurants for bargain priced burgers and meals.
Customers can sign up for MyMcDonald’s Rewards which allows you to earn and redeem points.
And fans can bag an even bigger bargain, for a limited time.
You can bag a breakfast McMuffin or a quarter pounder with cheese for a knock down price today – but only for customers who order through the app.
Hungry customers can grab a single breakfast McMuffin for just £1.19 – £1.60 cheaper than its usual price.
There are a choice of three breakfast fillings to choose from, including sausage and egg, bacon and egg, or egg and cheese.
The offer will be available now until 10.59am – when McDonald’s stop serving breakfast.
For people that prefer a lunch or dinnertime deal, from 11 am onwards, customers can purchase a quarter pounder with cheese for only £1.49,

This will save customers a whopping £2.40.
The classic burger is made from 100% beef with two slices of cheese, onions, pickles, mustard, and a dollop of tomato ketchup, wrapped up in a sesame seed bun.
Customers will be able to earn points when they purchase one of these deals by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
Both deals are only available on the McDonald’s App, and customers can start earning points on all orders by downloading via Google Play or the Apple App Store,
You can sign up sign up for free and opt into the MyMcDonald’s Rewards scheme.
The scheme means every penny spent equals one point, so this week’s offers will get you 119 points when ordering a single McMuffin, or 149 points when picking up a quarter pounder with cheese.
It comes after McDonald’s announced it is adding five new items to its menu next week – including mini potato waffles and a new McFlurry flavour.
But fans have been left “devastated” after it axed a menu favourite to make way for the changes.
