A banking competition boss is facing explosive allegations of bullying, sexism and intimidation.
Imran Gulamhuseinwala is said to have ‘openly and aggressively’ shouted at female colleagues, invaded their personal space and threatened them, The Sunday Telegraph reported.

The 47-year-old was appointed in 2017 as head of the Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE), which is responsible for overseeing the smooth introduction of rules that let customers switch banks more easily.
The Competition and Markets Authority, the parent regulator of the OBIE, brought in law firm Mishcon de Reya to investigate the ‘extremely serious’ claims about his conduct, and is now considering its findings.
Gulamhuseinwala, who was paid £500,000 in 2019, denies the allegations.
