Hartnett discovered that he had to compete for jobs in a new way after returning to the movie business. But he saw this as a positive.
Hartnett said, “I didn’t have to suffer as an actor, though I hope that I’ve made up for it now. Fortunately, I continue to receive offers for film and television parts, but in the past, there was a strong possibility I might land the part you desired. Now I have to compete for any roles I see. It isn’t awful. Actually, the rewards are greater. When something doesn’t go your way, it might be depressing, but only momentarily.

Hartnett was prepared to perform shirtless if the situation demanded it in the movie. But the Penny Dreadful star admitted that he would strive to keep his garments on if the chance arose.
“We’ll see. I’m not yet at ease with it. Some people have this meat-market mindset where they believe that removing your shirt would attract more women to the theater. I dispute it when that comes up on set,” he previously told Interview.
Having troubles with his body was one of the reasons Hartnett didn’t feel confident appearing nude.
“My physique isn’t very excellent. Some of these men exercise daily. They have me beat since I work out maybe once a year,” he continued.
Josh Hartnett Only Feels Alright With Nudity If It Serves A Purpose
Although the Pearl Harbor actor has voiced his opposition to nudity, he finds it simpler to disrobe if there is a reason behind it.
“On a movie, if anything doesn’t advance the plot, I don’t like it. In an interview with Elle, Hartnett said, “I do reveal certain stuff in the program, but I struggle to make sure that it’s amusing or character driven.
