These whopping discounts are being rolled out in addition to the administration sale.

However, some Wilko shoppers were angry after heading to their local shop to find that few or no sales at all in recent days.

Back to school essentials will also be flying off the shelves with 30 per cent off stationary.

Christmas decorations have been marked at 50 per cent off, so savvy spenders can stock up in plenty of time.

Meanwhile, DIY lovers will be jumping for joy when they discover 20 per cent off decorating and homeware products.

It comes as fresh hope was sparked that the chain could be saved after going bust, putting all 400 stores and 12,500 jobs at risk.
