The meme occurs when a picture of a large man appears on Google search when looking up “Who created Kirby?” instead of its actual creator, Masahiro Sakurai.

Sakurai is a Japanese video game director and designer who also writes songs.

He’s best known for the Kirby games series and Super Smash Bros.

When was Kirby created?

Kirby was invented in 1992 and the first game was called Kirby’s Dream Land.

In 1993, Nintendo Entertainment System released a second installment, called Kirby’s Adventure.

The meme was created in 2018 and has been doing the rounds since then.

Other games include Kirby’s Dream Land 2, Kirby Super Star, Kirby: Squeak Squad, Kirby: Triple Delux and Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Kirby games have sold over 38 million units worldwide, according to Wikipedia, and its one of Nintendo’s best-selling franchises.
