WATCHING Christmas films in the run up to the big day can really get you in the festive spirit.
A few of your favourites are bound to be on popular streaming services and we’ve rounded up some of the classics and where you can find them.

Netflix
Netflix doesn’t have too many Christmas classics but it does have one of the best.
The streaming giant has Bing Crosby’s White Christmas.
The musical has been a classic since 1954 and some cinemas even show it each Christmas.
Netflix also has a bunch of cheesy rom com Christmas movies about girls meeting and falling in love with princes.
One of the most popular is The Princess Switch starring Vanessa Hudgens.

If you love the Home Alone franchise, Disney+ is the Christmas streaming service for you.
It has the 90s franchise as well as some other classics.
There’s Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and the beloved The Muppet Christmas Carol.
Amazon Prime Video
The Polar Express can be streamed on Prime.
The film about a magical train ride to the North Pole stars Tom Hanks and is popular with all ages.
Elf is available for some Prime users who have STARZ.
Prime also has It’s A Wonderful Life which is a major Christmas classic.
Hulu
This US-based streaming service has a great selection of Christmas film favourites.
Just be wary that some of them require add on subscriptions to your Hulu account.
For example, you can watch Elf on Hulu if you have the STARZ add on subscription and you can watch Miracle on 34th Street if you have Hulu with HBO Max.
You can watch The Holiday or The Man Who Invented Christmas with just a regular Hulu subscription.
