How can I watch the asteroid pass Earth?

In related outer space news, Asteroid 7482 will be accompanied by three other asteroids on January 18.

Although three additional asteroids are set to zoom across the sky, they are not as large as 7482.

The three smaller asteroids won’t fly as close as 7482 to Earth, chances are they might not be as visible.

None of the asteroids will be visible to the naked eye alone and will require a telescope to observe the event.

If observers utilize a telescope, there’s a possibility they could catch 7482 shoot across the sky.

When is the next asteroid coming towards Earth?

The next astronomical event is predicted to occur in September of 2022.

NASA also reports their September mission is focused on a close to Earth asteroid, Dimorphos.

The space association plans to deliberately crash a spacecraft into Dimorphos.

NASA projects the crash will redirect Dimorphos further away from Earth.
