Extreme heat warning issued for Thursday to Sunday for parts of England and Wales

The UK Met Office has issued an amber warning for extreme heat covering four days from Thursday to Sunday for parts of England and Wales as a new heatwave looms.

The warning comes as the forecaster predicted 35C in places – below last month’s record temperatures, which peaked above 40C in some spots.
