How can I save money at B&M?
The B&M barcode scanner app allows you to discover discounted items before the staff have even reduced them.
The scanner is located on the B&M Stores mobile app, which can be downloaded for free on your smartphone.
Shoppers can download it on the App Store or Google Play.
Once you’ve downloaded the app you can use the “scan” feature to scan barcodes on any item in the store to see if an item has been reduced.
Bargain hunters say some items come up as £1, 50p or even 10p through the app.
Shoppers should also keep an eye out for products with a white reduction sticker on.
This means they will have a certain amount slashed off the price shown on the label.
It’s cheaper to shop for products at the end of the season.
Get friendly with staff too, they’ll be able to tell you when the sales will hit, or if there are bargains out the back – so you get the best bits.
If you can’t grab the B&M plant, B&Q is selling one for a little more at £12 and its had received rave reviews online.

If you’re not looking to buy a plant there are a few other ways you tackle mould in your home.
B&M is selling a £1.40 mould spray which can stop mould in its tracks.
Or you could tackle the problem at its source, mould is often caused by excess moisture in a contained area so there are things you can do to stop it from forming.
One of the easiest ways to avoid getting mould is to open your windows every day to let fresh air in and keep doors between rooms open.
Ensuring that air continuously circulates through your home will reduce condensation so the mould cannot grow.
You should also open cupboard doors regularly to allow fresh air in to make sure there’s no mould growing inside.
Other things that can help include not leaving your clothes to dry on radiators, and always cooking with ventilation.
