The reason we love this TV deal as much as we do is because we weren’t sure if we’d see any Neo QLEDs on sale during Black Friday 2021.

A four-figure sum for a television might be too rich for lots of people’s blood – but nonetheless, it’s one of the best Black Friday TV deals out there at present.

What is Neo QLED TV?

These are a line of televisions that have been on the market for less than a year – they represent the next phase of Samsung’s QLED tech.

This is the brand’s to the OLED screen technology you’ll see in Sony, LG and many other television brands.

Both QLED and OLED have nothing to do with picture resolution – nearly all new televisions are 4K in picture quality.

Instead of boosting the resolution, QLED uses a layer of ‘quantum dots’ that improve how each of those pixels performs – your screen will produce darker darks, more vibrant colours, better levels of contrast.

Also with QLED screens, you can sit anywhere in the room and the picture quality stays the same.

You’ll find every one of Samsung’s QN94A Neo QLED line discounted at Currys right now.

Unfortunately, the 75- and 85-inch televisions are out of stock right now – but being honest, very few people have a large enough space to get the most out of a screen of this enormous size.

Instead, the 50- and 55-inch televisions are a middleweight size that will be perfect for most living rooms.

The spend does start to get steep when you hit the 65-inch territory – but it’s worth considering the longevity of your new TV: this could easily serve you for a good decade.

There’s also Samsung’s Tizen smart platform, which has a reputation for being smooth and highly intuitive.

Plus, there’s the built-in voice assistant: why use a remote to change channels when you can get Alexa do the hard work for you?

Given how new these TVs are, we doubt they’ll get discounted any further next week or on Black Friday itself.
