But shoppers have criticised Tesco’s price points, with a rattan sofa priced at £475 and the egg chair at £350.

The range also includes a £21 rattan candle holder and a £12 decorative cushion, according to photos shared on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

One commenter said the prices are “extortionate” and another said “I literally want to cry, so expensive”.

Another shopper joked: “Am I allowed to spend £475 on garden furniture”, with their friend responding “oh my goodness, no! You’re paying for the name on it”.

Shoppers can pick up the new collection in Tesco Extra stores, and some items are available online.
