A SAVVY shopper secured a free Shark hoover worth £369 by signing up as a product reviewer.
Sharon Cheeswright from Snodland, Kent, managed to bag a Shark Anti Hair Wrap Upright Vacuum Cleaner for absolutely nothing.

To get the freebie, all she had to do was find Shark’s product reviewer page online.
Then she just dropped them a message to register her details.
“I saw the Shark hoovers advertised on TV before and thought they looked really good,” Sharon told LatestFreeStuff.co.uk.
“I’d had my Henry the hoover for years, so I thought I would email them to see if they offered product testing and if they wanted new reviewers.”
She added: “Four weeks later, I got an email asking me if I was still interested in trying a product. All they wanted me to do was write two reviews of the hoover and that’s it.”
The vacuum was free and arrived via next-day delivery, with Sharon saying it’s the “best thing” she’s ever received for free.
She said: “I have received small freebies in the past, like samples of moisturisers or face washes, but this is definitely my biggest win so far. I would recommend that everyone tries it – it’s only one form to fill out, and you won’t know until you try.”
Anyone can sign up to be a product tester, and the company will send out freebies if you fit the right profile.
But you won’t always be sent a product to review even if you’ve signed up.

How to become a product reviewer and bag freebies
You can either sign up with companies directly or join a reliable third-party site that hands out opportunities to reviewers.
If you approach a company directly, remember that they might not currently be looking for product testers.
Even if they are, you might not get a sample if you don’t fit the profile or if there is too much demand.
You will often be able to keep the freebies but sometimes you’ll have to send them back.
Product testers are expected to write a review or fill in a survey after trying out the items.
It’s rare that you’ll be able to choose which items you’ll be sent, but you can usually select your preferences when you sign up.
Clicks Research works with clients including Liz Earle, Sanctuary, Marks and Spencer, Body Shop and Boots.
Boots has a volunteer testing panel, and it is currently looking for new product reviewers to sign up.
Toluna is primarily a survey site, but it also sends out products for volunteers to review.
Philips is also looking for product testers, and current items open for reviewing include an air fryer and and a steam iron.
It’s worth trying Sharon’s trick and approaching your favourite companies about testing products – although there’s no guarantees that you’ll be successful.
