RING is providing customers in the UK who own a specific product with a free upgrade.
The firm’s Ring Intercom is gaining a brand new feature that will come in very handy when you’re out.

Ring Intercom is aimed at those who live in flats or apartment blocks.
It hooks up to the building’s existing intercom system.
The device was launched last year with the ability to remotely allow Amazon delivery drivers in to leave your parcels.
This gave them a limited amount of time to drop stuff off in your apartment building’s entrance, lobby or parcel room.
But now the app is going a step further.
As of today, owners can now let any trusted contact in.
Auto-Verified Guest means you can grant access to a friend, family member, or even the cleaner using a virtual Guest Key.
“Your trusted guests can unlock your building entrance using the Ring app on their smartphone without disturbing your day, removing the need to copy additional building keys, give out key fobs, or share your entrance code,” Ring explained.

“Unlike Shared Users, your Auto-Verified Guests will not receive shared access to your device such as managing device alerts, answering the apartment intercom or viewing event history.”
You get to decide when Auto-Verified Guests are allowed in – and how long for.
So, you could grant access at all times or you can limit things to certain days and times.
And you’ll get a notification whenever someone comes in.
