Banks and schools are shut but can still grab your favourite food or clothing from M&S stores as most of its shops remain open over the bank holiday.
When is M&S open over the August Bank Holiday?
M&S store opening times vary depending on the location.
You can find your nearest store and check its opening hours using the locator on the M&S website.
Stores are generally open from 8am to 8pm during the week and on Saturdays but may open or close an hour earlier or later in some areas.
Sunday opening hours are usually from 10am or 11am until 4pm to 5pm.
The Bank Holiday opening times on August 30 are closer to weekday and Saturday hours, with some stores operating from 8am to 8pm.
However, some are closing earlier at 6pm or 7pm.
Check the opening hours of your nearest store on the M&S website before travelling.
Is M&S delivering over the August Bank Holiday weekend?
You can order M&S food online via Ocado and there are some slots still available on Saturday August 28 and Sunday August 29.
There are only afternoon and evening slots available on Monday August 30 and you will have to act fast as they can disappear quickly and are given on a first-come-first-served basis.
The amount you’re charged for delivery on Ocado depends on the day and time of your slot, and how much you’re spending but it can be free if you’re spending over £75.
If your order is less than £75, there’s a minimum charge of £2.99 and a maximum of £6.99 and you have to spend at least £40 to be able to checkout.
Shoppers can order clothing and homeware products straight from the M&S website to pickup in a local store while it is open over the bank holiday.
You can often order items through the M&S website to pickup after 12pm the next day depending on availability.
