FANS are racing to grab an “amazing” Mini Egg item hitting the shelves once again.

Morrisons shoppers were delighted to see the seasonal goodies make a comeback.

The Easter Mini Egg cookies are the perfect sweet treat, with five in a bag for just £1.29.

They’re part of the Morrison’s Cake Shop brand and are freshly baked in store.

A helpful chocoholic shared the useful info on a Facebook group called Newfoodsuk.

The post has already racked up hundreds of comments and shares.

“Had this the other day and they are amazing,” penned one impressed user.

“Bet these would be banging,” wrote another fan.

A third was desperate to get their hands on some and said: “I want the whole packet.”

“I need some,” agreed another, “these look so yum,” added someone else.

The Easter themed snack has been inspired by Cadbury’s own Mini Egg cookies.

Shoppers can get grab a packet of the Cadbury originals at Asda – and fans couldn’t get enough.

The package comes with four chocolate cookies “packed with micro mini eggs”.

The delicious treat has also been spotted at Co-Op and Tesco for £1.75.

One person wrote: “We need these in our lives,” wrote one impressed shopper on social media.

It comes as shoppers are also going wild for Marks and Spencer’s latest limited-edition sweets featuring a fan favourite character.

M&S fans were excited to discover a new variety of the supermarket’s iconic Percy Pig treats.

And, chocoholics are racing to get their hands on a NEW Terry’s Chocolate Orange flavour – and it ‘tastes better than the original’.

The taste-bud tingling treat is flying off the shelves as eager fans nab them for just £1.50.

Meanwhile, others have been desperate to nab a new “ultimate” Easter Egg with a naughty twist – as shoppers say “you don’t want to miss this”.

M&S are offering chocolate lovers the perfect blend of exciting new flavours – as customers rush to fill their trolleys.
