The offer is available for one day only, this Sunday, March 14, through the My McDonald’s app.

You can download the app for free via the App Store or Google Play – after you’ve done this, you’ll need to register an account.

This involves signing up with your email address and agreeing for the restaurant chain to send you marketing emails.

Once you’re registered, go to the deals section of the app on Sunday, after 11am, and you’ll see the McNuggets deal.

How to find your nearest McDonald’s

MCDONALD’S has just under 1,300 branches across the UK.

To find your nearest one, you can use the free McDonald’s restaurant locator tool.

Enter your postcode and the webpage will bring up your nearest branches.

Or if you’re using the app, you’ll be asked to enter your postcode to find your local McDonald’s.

Click on this, and the offer will be added to your basket.

You’ll then need to choose which restaurant to purchase your food from, and if you’ll use a drive-thru or walk-in collection.

McDonald’s restaurants remain closed for eat-in diners due to coronavirus restrictions.

We’re checking with Maccies if the deal is for new and existing app users and we’ll update this article when we know more.

The Sun has also asked if any restaurants aren’t participating.

The deal doesn’t apply to delivery orders – which are placed through Just Eat or Uber Eats – or nuggets that are ordered from a till inside McDonald’s.

If you’re tempted, there are around 1,300 McDonald’s restaurants in the UK and you use the online store finder tool to locate your nearest one.

You should note that a box of six McNuggets contains 259 calories.

In its latest menu update McDonald’s has brought back its Grand Big Mac and Homestyle Crispy Chicken burger.

But the menu will change again to make room for new products later this month, leaving some fans “raging”.

It was a similar story when Katsu nuggets sold out before the last menu change.
