MCDONALD’S and Burger King are kicking off their Christmas festivities, with amazing deals starting from today.
Maccies is offering its fans a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese for just £1.99, while Burger King is doing Whoppers and plant-based Whoppers for just £1.

Both offers last for today only, but the fast-food chains will be launching new daily deals throughout the festive period.
McDonald’s is discounting the bargain Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese through its app today. Usually, it costs £4.69 – meaning a tasty saving of £2.70 or 58%.
The burger is just like the iconic quarterpounder with cheese, but much bigger.
It comes with two beef patties, two cheese slices, fresh onions, pickles and a ketchup / mustard combo.
To take advantage of the offer, you need to have the My McDonald’s app downloaded on your phone.
Once you’re there, click the ‘offers’ button, and you’ll see the deal.
Unfortunately, it’s pick up only, which means you’ll have to go to a McDonald’s restaurant or Drive-Thru and get the food yourself.
If you order for My McDonald’s delivery, or through Just Eat or Uber Eats, you won’t get the discount.

While we know McDonald’s will be unveiling more deals this Christmas, we don’t yet know what the offers will be.

Burger King’s £1 Whopper is part of its 12 Days of Whopper festive celebration.
The chain will be releasing new bargains every day for the first half of December.
Burger King prices can vary from restaurant to restaurant, so how much you save depends on where you are. It says the typical saving on a £1 Whopper is £3.99.
It has already announced the deals for the rest of the week.
Customers with the app can get:
- Wednesday December 1: Whopper burger for £1 (saving £3.99)
- Thursday December 2: Six Chicken Fries and a portion of regular fries for £3 (saving £2.68)
- Friday December 3: Buy one get one free regular fries for £1.79 (saving £2.79)
- Saturday December 4: Free portion of fries and drink with a Gourmet Kings Argentinian Burger for £6.99 (saving £4.48)
- Sunday December 5: Free portion of regular fries with Memphis BBQ King Burger for £6.29 (saving £2.29)
