In the latest newsletter, MSE revealed how shoppers can make use of outlet stores such as Office Offcuts and Schuh Imperfects.

The retailers are offering ex-display shows and items with a slight wear and tear for less than the original price.

The financial pros said: “[They] sell mega-reduced, ex-display shoes that may have minor wear-and-tear – often only minor scuffs and tiny marks after people have tried them on in store.

“You can think of these websites as a kind of online jumble sale where each pair of shoes is listed individually – a bit like eBay or Facebook Marketplace – along with a clear photo of the exact pair you’ll receive, and any defects will be mentioned in the description.”

Bargain hunters can snap up Adidas trainers for £14.45 down from the original price of £85.

They can also shop Nike mid trainers in a size 3 for just £23.80 instead of a whopping £100.

For fashionistas looking for stylish boots, the website is selling UGGs for just £36.55.

All you need to do is head out to Offcuts and brows among hundreds of items.

Money-savers can also get an extra 15per cent off by adding the code MSE15 at the checkout.

Martin’s MSE added: “If you’re willing to put in the time and wait patiently for the right pair of shoes to come along, and don’t mind putting up with the odd minor blemish, these sites can be a great way to save yourself some money – especially if you’re after expensive branded trainers.”

Bear in mind that the outlet stores won’t always have the exact product and size you’re after.

But it’s always worth checking as you could save a lot of money.

Office Offcutes charges £3.99 for standard delivery on all orders while Schuh Imperfects costs £3 for delivery or free on orders over £25.

How can I buy shoes for cheap?

MONEY Saving Expert’s Martin Lewis has revealed how to bag the extra money off in its latest newsletter.

The discount is available at Offcuts by Office, which stocks end-of-line pairs, returns and ex-display shoes that have slight marks or discoloration.

To get the 15% off, enter the code MSE15 at checkout until 11.59pm on Sunday, 6 June.

Delivery costs £3.99, or it is free on orders of more than £65.

The code is valid per each transaction and will work on any shoes on the Offcuts website.

How to save on shopping

There are many ways to save on clothes and supermarket shopping.

For example, if you know you’re after something like a pair of shoes or a jacket, look at secondhand options first.

Apps like eBay, Depop and Vinted have thousands of items from people who no longer want them.

You can try charity shops as well.

If you have to buy the item new, sign up to loyalty schemes and newsletters.

Retailers often have some sort of sale or discount code which they’ll advertise through those.

It’s also worth using comparison tools if you know you’re after a particular item that can be sold at various stores.

It’s also a good idea to only shop when a store has a sale on – keep an eye out for events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

You could always make a list of the items you’re after so you’re ready to go on the day.

You can also use apps like Too Good to Go which provides bundle bags of items that haven’t been sold that day at a fraction of the cost.

Stock is always different but it’s a great way to save waste and money.

Look out for yellow sticker items in supermarkets – they’re usually easier to find towards the end of the day.
