YOU don’t have to splash out if you want to keep cool this summer as Lidl is selling a 10ft swimming pool – and its cheaper than B&Q and Argos.

Shoppers can get the Bestway Fast Set Fill and Rise Pool for just £55.

The pool is on sale at Lidl and has a capacity of 3,800 litres

It’s cheaper at Lidl than at other well known sellers including B&Q.

B&Q are selling the same pool for £82, so you could save yourself £27 if you shop at Lidl.

Neither Lidl or B&Q offer home delivery for the product.

And a similar 10ft plunge pool is on sale at Argos for £85 – meaning you could save £30 if you go to the discount supermarket.

Argos is currently charging home delivery from £2.95 for their Polygroup Summer Waves 10ft Quick Up Paddling Pool.

Bestway’s pool is easy to set up – all you do is lay it on level ground, inflate the top ring, fill with water and the pool will rise to its full size.

At Lidl, it also comes with a two year warranty and a filter pump and cartridge to make sure your water is clear and safe.

The pool has a capacity of 3,800 litres – but remember you should be careful if you are on a water metre, as filling pools up can cost a small fortune.

There are lots of deals to be had at Lidl as part of their The supermarket has a range of offers on display in the middle aisle –  known as “the middle of Lidl”.

But when the deals are gone, that is it – they don’t come back. So it is worth checking to see if the pool is in stock before visiting a store.

You can call your nearest store to check if they have the pool. This tool can be used to find your nearest store.

Always make sure you shop around. You can use Google’s shopping search tool, or price comparison websites like Idealo

There are some places online that you could buy similar models for even cheaper.

Amazon is currently selling the pool for £44.09 and a website called the The DennyShop is selling a Bestway Fast Set Pool for £42.99

Amazon was selling the pool for £49.99 but it is now currently on a 12% sale.

This pool is the same size as the one being sold at Lidl but doesn’t come with the same items – such as a pump. It does come with a set up DVD.

The pool being sold at The DennyShop is also the same size, but doesn’t come with a filter pump.

You should also think about what other similar products are on for sale.

For example, B&M are selling a 10ft Staycation Quick Set Pool for £38.

Another thing to remember, is that blow up pools can cost a lot to fill up for some people.

How much it costs will depend on the pool’s size and how you pay your water bill.

It could cost you a lot if you are on a water metre – this is because you pay for the water you use.

A pool that holds about 3,000 litres would cost you just over £10 to fill up.

One way to keep costs down is to avoid repeatedly filling your pool up.

You can buy sterilising fluid or using a filter to make sure your water is clean and safe to bathe in.
