SHOPPERS are racing to a popular supermarket chain after it was revealed they were selling limited edition bagels.
A savvy customer posted a pic of Asda’s limited edition New York Bakery Co blueberry bagels which went viral on Facebook.

The post received hundreds of likes with people tagging their friends in the comment section.
One user said: “Junk but good.”
“Add some cream cheese and…” said another.
The bagels are available at your nearest Asda store but cannot be bought online.

The supermarket giant sells other flavoured packs of New York Bakery Co bagels for £1.90.
However, the discount retailer isn’t the only supermarket to sell the sought-after New York Bakery Co bagels.
They first landed on Tesco’s shelves which saw fans of the giant supermarket chain flock to their nearest store.
The post announcing the snack’s arrival racked up more than 600 likes with bagel lovers raving about the new flavour.

“We both have to have them,” a third cried.
It’s not always been plain sailing between bagel lovers and the company that makes them.
Last year fans accused them of penny-pinching by cutting the amount of bread in each.
The New York Bakery Co has cut its supermarket bagels from 90g each to 85g but their price remained the same.
Customers also complained that their favourite fillings spilt out more.
Bagel fan John Small, 44, fumed: “Too much cream cheese squeezes out now.
“Sure, a bit coming out is part of the theatre of eating a salmon and cream cheese bagel.
“But you don’t want half the cheese and capers coming out.”
A New York Bakery Co spokesperson said: “The quality of our bagels is always the top priority for us, and that means sourcing the finest ingredients at all times.

“Ongoing inflationary costs have meant we have needed to slightly reduce the size of our bagels from 90g to 85g.
“This change came into effect in April, and it has been done in a way that ensures there has been no compromise on quality or taste for our customers.”
