To celebrate King Charles’ ascension to the throne on Saturday May 6, the burger restaurant is offering customers the chance to purchase two Chicken Royales or two Vegan Royales for the price of one.

Customers can order their food in restaurants or through the Burger King app to claim the freebie.

Fans will be able to access the offer subject to availability from Saturday May 6 to Monday May 8.

Prices vary across the country but today – a Chicken Royale was priced between £6.89 to £7.99.

The Chicken Royale is a Burger King favourite among fans, with crispy chicken topped with iceberg lettuce, mayo and crowned with a sesame seed bun.

And the vegan version includes a patty, iceberg lettuce, vegan mayo and is topped with a toasted sesame seed bun.

Non-vegan burger fans will also have the chance to add extra bacon and cheese to meal for only £1 extra when ordering in store.

These mouth watering deals are set to help you celebrate the prestigious event while feasting like a king.

The chain has even released limited edition merch – a paper crown reading “King Charles III”, so all of their customers can celebrate like royals for the historic day.

The paper crowns, which have limited stock, will be available in Burger King’s around the country from tomorrow.

The hilarious move comes after King Charles was offered a paper crown from Burger King by a German fan in March.

The fan said: “This is for you, if you want it.”

But Charles laughed and declined the offer, and continued to move through the crowded streets greeting other fans.

Charles also spoke to other members of the crowd wearing the paper crowns, seemingly in hysterics.

But if burgers aren’t your thing, The Sun’s Hayley Minn tried making the Coronation Quiche – the official dish of King Charles’ big day.

The famous meal is filled with spinach, broad beans and cheese and she tells all on how she got on with making it from scratch.
