Is Allan Gore In Jail?
Was Allan Gore jailed for the murder of his wife Betty Gore, who was killed by her neighbor Candy Montgomery with an ax? Apparently, Allan and Candy had an extra-marital affair, which Betty later found out. In a bit of a rage, she charged Candy with an ax, and candy managed to get hold of the weapon and killed her in self-defense.
Questions arise about whether Allan was an accomplice of Montgomery. He was also one of the suspects given his history with Candy. Allan reportedly has an alibi; he was at St. Paul, Minnesota for business the day of the fateful incident, thus clearing his name from the murder.
Though Allan did not go to jail for the murder of his wife, he confessed his infidelity with Candy, which was used as a motive by Candy and led to the police arresting her. After being unable to reach his wife by phone, Allan requested the neighbors to investigate, discovering Betty’s corpse.
