Kopsa is particularly well-known to Hallmark viewers for his portrayal of Andrew McAndrick in the films Finding Father Christmas and its follow-ups, Engaging Father Christmas and Marrying Father Christmas.
Moreover, he made appearances in a number of Hallmark’s current mystery programs, such as Garage Sale Mysteries, Hailey Dean Mysteries, Mystery 101, and The Chronicle Mysteries.
In addition to his work with Hallmark, Kopsa also portrayed William Kingston in the Facebook Watch series Sacred Lies and Captain Windmark in the television series Fringe. He provides the voices for Roger Baxter in Littlest Pet Shop and Vex in Ninjago. The X-Files, Stargate SG-1, and The Outer Limits are just a few of his numerous other acting credits.

Following Kospa’s passing, Hallmark Channel acknowledged his contributions to the network on Twitter.
“Today we celebrate the legacy of Michael [Kopsa], who was many people’s friend and coworker. In our hearts forever,” the message stated.
According to Deadline, Lucia Frangione, Kopsa’s ex-wife, tweeted the news of his passing. She said, “The great Michael Kopsa, my good friend and the father of my daughter, Nora, passed tragically on October 23, 2022, from a brain tumor. He was a master woodworker, musician, painter, voice actor, and theater and screen performer. His role as a loving and generously present father was very vital.
