MODEL Danielle Zarb-Cousin puts the finishing touches to the shed-sational creation that won her the Shed of the Year award.
The social media influencer, of Southend, entered the contest after she split with Love Island’s Jonny Mitchell.
Danielle, 29, went for a 1970s theme inspired by her love of Elvis and Johnny Cash.
She built it after moving in with her parents at the start of the first lockdown and transformed their old empty garden shed into a retro haven.
It has an orange and mint green colour scheme, its own cocktail bar and is full of vinyl records and furnishings.

She said: “I had a bad break-up just before lockdown. The shed became a massive focus for me during a time of chaos.
“I couldn’t go out and see my friends or start dating again, so the shed became a massive focus for me during lockdown in a time of chaos.
“After building it, the shed became a nice, peaceful place where I could sit and write my blog and a book about I’m hoping to have published about getting over heartbreak.
“It was a little sanctuary for me and it’s something I’m really proud of. The shed really represents that time in my life.”
Danielle, from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, said winning the Cuprinol Shed Of The Year 2021 “feels amazing.”
She added: “One of my friends said I should enter and I thought it was a joke. I had to Google it to see that the competition was a thing.
“I never expected to make the final and then I saw how good some of the other finalists were.”
