SHOPPERS have been left shouting “I’ll buy a whole shelf full” after spotting a Terry’s Chocolate Orange Easter egg on Tesco’s shelves.

The Christian festival is fast approaching and retailers have already started stocking an array of eggs for sweet-toothed customers.

And Tesco shoppers have been left in awe after clocking a Terry’s Chocolate Orange exploding candy version online.

One customer posted a photo of the treat on the NewfoodsUK Facebook page after spotting it in their nearest store.

Over 600 people have liked the post and hundreds have commented saying they can’t wait to grab one.

One, tagging a friend, said: “Oooo, this made me think of you, looks really good doesn’t it.”

Another said: “Omg if this is true I NEED,” while a third added: “I may be a mum now and nearly 27 but yes please.”

A fourth simply added: “Yes!!! Buy a whole shelf full.”

Anyone looking to snap up one of the Chocolate Orange Easter eggs can nab one for £5 at Tesco.

The 297g box comes with one large milk chocolate egg and an exploding candy chocolate egg.

Both products are suitable for vegetarians but contain milk and soya, and may contain nuts and wheat.

In total, both eggs come in at around 1,530 calories.

It’s not clear whether Tesco is stocking the box in all its stores, so you should get in touch with your nearest to find out.

You can do this by using Tesco’s store locator tool on its website.

It comes after KitKat fans were left screaming “hands down the best Easter egg” after spotting a Caramel Cookie version in shops.

Last month, shoppers found giant 1kg bags of Cadbury Mini Eggs in B&M stores for £12.

And B&M shoppers were racing to buy rare Cadbury chocolate bar spotted on shelves.
