ANOTHER Samsung rival has announced brand new smartphones days before the big Galaxy launch.
Samsung is expected to reveal brand new Galaxy handsets on Wednesday with AI at the forefront.
Competitor Honor has already got in before Samsung with an all-new Magic6 Lite.
And now it’s the turn of Xiaomi.
The firm has unveiled a brand new Redmi Note 13 series with a whooping five models.

They start from as little as £199 – though there’s currently an “early bird” £179 offer.
But even the cheapest model has a bigger battery than the iPhone, at 5,000mAh.
The highest end of the range, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, comes in at £449.
Xiaomi claims it can charge to 100 per cent in just 19 minutes.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 13 Pro all feature an ultra-high resolution 200-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) for high detail in your snaps.
Meanwhile, the cheaper models, Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 13, are equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera with 3x lossless zoom.
There are various colour options to choose from, including:
- Redmi Note 13: Midnight Black, Mint Green, and Ice Blue
- Redmi Note 13 5G: Graphite Black
- Redmi Note 13 Pro: Midnight Black, Lavender Purple, and Forest Green
- Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G: Midnight Black, Ocean Teal, and Aurora Purple
- Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G: Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Aurora Purple
People can buy the devices first on mi.com from January 18 to 31, where they will receive a free Redmi Watch 4 and Redmi Buds 5 gift.
