A WHOPPING £2million National Lottery jackpot has been won with one Brit taking home the life-changing cash.

The lucky punter holding the golden ticket scooped the massive prize in Wednesday’s draw.

The winning Lotto numbers were 3, 8, 15, 18, 23, 25 – and the bonus number was 58.

As well as the jackpot winner, two other tickets also landed £1 million each after matching five of the six numbers plus the bonus.

It come as another lucky ticket-holder came forward to claim the prize from the Saturday, October 7 draw.

The estimated jackpot is £3.9 million.

The claim will now be validated – and once successful, the Brit will become an instant multi-millionaire thanks to the draw-dropping prize.

There were no winners of the £350,000 top prize for Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw.

The winning Thunderball numbers were 03, 06, 09, 10, 32 – and the Thunderball was 07.

No-one matched five numbers plus the Thunderball to win £500,000, but one player matched all five main numbers to win £5,000.

The first National Lottery draw was held on November 19 1994 when seven winners shared a jackpot of £5,874,778.

The largest amount ever to be won by a single ticket holder was £42million, won in 1996.

Gareth Bull, a 49-year-old builder, won the cash in November, 2020 and ended up knocking down his bungalow to make way for a luxury manor house with a pool.

Just last night, a whopping £34m jackpot went up for grabs through EuroMillions.

And winners have revealed how they have splashed the cash after scooping lottery prizes.

Libby Elliot won £2.1m in a lottery – spending the cash on dream holiday destinations across the world and a glam makeover.

And bus driver Peter Laverty revealed how he won £10m in 1996 – completely changing his life.

He celebrated the win through excessive drinking, partying and eating and was then told by doctors he would drink himself into an early grave if he continued with his lifestyle.

The odds of winning the lottery are estimated to be about one in 14million – BUT you’ve got to be in it to win it.
