ALDI shoppers have revealed how to score almost a third off their Easter chocolate.
But they have to put up with it looking a little less than perfect in order to cash-in.

Shoppers spotted that some of the store’s chocolate bunnies had been smashed somewhere between being shipped off to Aldi, and making their way onto the supermarket’s shelf.
But instead of throwing away the imperfect product, Aldi had marked it down in price.
The trick to scoring the chocolate for less, was shared on Facebook page Aldi UK shoppers.
On the bargain hunting forum, one shopper shared an image of Aldi’s Dairyfine giant milk chocolate bunny with the 30%-off sticker slapped on the front.
The 300g chocolate treat usually costs £4, but the shopper will have managed to pick up their version for around £2.80 at 30% off.
It means they saved £1.20 on their purchase, but they had to put up with it not coming in perfect condition.
The chocolate bunny’s head had been wiped clean off from its body – it was still there in the box so technically the shopper didn’t get any less chocolate for the price – it just wasn’t all in one piece.
But they explained that it “still tastes the same” even though the bunny was looking a little worse for wear.

And other shoppers chimed in on the trick to bagging the chocolate for less under the post.
“Because it’s discounted, I bet it tastes even better,” one user said.
Another user agreed as they joked: “Get it eaten, it all goes to the same place.”
But another shopper said even more should have come off the price: “It should have been 70% off with a missing head – it looks like something out of a horror movie!”
Easter eggs and similar chocolate treats can be particularly brittle as they’re not a solid form like normal chocolate bars – so you could find that others on the shelf have met the same fate.
If you’re not fussed on your Easter chocolate staying intact then it can be a good way to bag a treat for less.
We’ve asked Aldi just how much of its chocolate it discounts in the same way and will update this story once we know more.
But in a similar way, the supermarket marks down food nearing its best before date with “red stickers”.
It’s still good enough to eat but won’t last much longer in the fridge, so instead of throwing it away the store will discount the food by up to 70%, which is a great money-saving tool for shoppers on a budget.
Plenty of other supermarkets use “yellow sticker” bargains too – and some shoppers have managed to make use of them to make major savings on their grocery bill.
