NICKNAMED the ‘Illuminati Tinder’, dating app Raya has made a name for itself for being a hot spot for celebrity singletons.

And because of its high-end clientele, it’s one of the most exclusive and hard-to-break-into spheres of dating out there.

Pretty hard.

But the Lamborghini of dating apps was never going to be an easy fish to catch.

There are roughly 10,000 active users on Raya currently.

Which means only about 8% of applications are accepted.

How many followers do you need to get on Raya?

Raya doesn’t actually have a follower requirement.

But people have suggested that successful applicants need at least 5,000 followers to get accepted on the site.

How much does it cost to be on Raya?

If you’re lucky enough to be welcomed into the app, a membership is $9.99 or £5.99 per month.

But like its largely free counterparts, Tinder, Bumble and Hinge, users can pay extra for in-app purchases, such as extra likes.

How do I apply for Raya?

“Prospective members may download the app and submit an application,” according to Raya.

“Once submitted, applications are placed in queue and reviewed continually.

“An applicant’s status can change from ‘waitlisted’ to ‘accepted’ at any time.”

But users won’t be told that their application has been rejected.
