DOZENS queued in wind and rain yesterday to spend their dough on Greggs’ pastry-themed clothing range.
The bakery has linked up with Primark to sell T-Shirts for £8, trainers at £16 and undies for £7.
Fans rushed the store in Newcastle upon Tyne at 8am.
There are 29 outlets of the pastry chain in the city.
Ed Finn, 18, said: “I made a 12-hour journey in a storm from Worcester.
“It was that important to me.”
Liam Turnbull, 33, said: “I wanted to be here early because I was worried about missing out.
He added: “The vegan sausage roll is iconic.”
Only select stores are offering the range.
