FATHER’S Day is on Sunday and it’s the perfect opportunity to spoil dad.

Father’s Day doesn’t have a fixed date, and so is celebrated on a different day each year, it’s always the third Sunday of June though, and that means this year it falls this weekend.

You might have left gift buying until the last minute though, so a trip out for lunch on Sunday will be the perfect way to redeem the special day.

Lots of restaurants are offering out freebies on drink and even food for Dads, so make sure you check what you can get complimentary before splashing out this weekend.

Get a FREE pint at Sizzling pubs

Dads can get a free pint at any Sizzling pub on Sunday by downloading the app.

You have to have it set up before you visit to show to a member of staff or ready to order your food and drink from the table with it.

The offer entitles Dad to enjoy a free pint of Carling, Doom Bar or Coors Light as long as an adult main meal is bought too.

At least one full priced main meal has to be purchased and it’s only valid after 12pm on June 20.

Sadly you can only get one free pint per table so it’ll only be Dad cashing in on the offer.

If you would prefer a soft drink instead as the freebie, then you just have to ask a member of staff for more details. 

Get a FREE drink at Cafe Rouge

Cafe Rouge has a voucher you can download that entitles Dad to a free drink at the restaurant.

You can claim the freebie when ordering a main from the a la carte or set menu on Sunday.

Just pop your email address into the bar on Cafe Rouge’s website and you’ll be sent your voucher – remember to bring it with you when you visit either on your phone or printed out.

You’ll be able to get a pint of Stella Artois, a 250ml glass of house wine, a 125ml glass of Prosecco, a single Beefeater gin and Schweppes tonic, a glass of Coke or Diet Coke or a glass of lemonade in the offer.

This code you’ll be sent is valid for one free drink per Dad but you can get a maximum of three free drinks per table.

This one isn’t valid with any other offers, bundles or Tesco Clubcard tokens and you can’t use it at Center Parcs or for a delivery or takeaway order.

FREE nachos on offer at Chiquito

You’ll be able to snap up free nachos or a free drink with every main at Chiquito this Father’s Day.

The offer is already running from today so you don’t have to wait until Sunday to claim the freebie.

There’s not much you have to do to claim either you just have to register an account at Chiquito and add the Father’s day code to your account’s “wallet”.

Then you’ll be able to redeem this QR code when you’re in the restaurant just bring it along with you.

Get a FREE Peroni at Pizza Express

You can get a free Peroni Libera at Pizza Express.

The freebie is valid with the purchase of a main meal.

To claim head to the Pizza Express website where you’ll be prompted to enter your postcode and find the restaurant you want to visit on Sunday, then you’ll have to fill out a form with all your details.

You don’t have to make an account as you can redeem as a guest but you’ll still need to make sure everything is accurate so you can get your code sent through via email.

It’s already running so you can claim the free beer from now but the offer will end on Sunday.

All you need to do is show the code you’re sent to your waiter or waitress either on your phone, or printed out.

Get a FREE Carling at Buzz Bingo

You’ll be able to get a free pint of Carling at each of Buzz Bingo’s 91 clubs.

It’s a great offer if you don’t fancy buying food on Father’s Day and would rather do an activity with Dad instead.

The deal will be available across the country, while stock lasts.

You’ll be given a voucher when purchasing bingo tickets which entitles you to one free pint of Carling lager.

You can use the Bingo giant’s finder tool to locate where your closest is and cash in on the freebie.

25% off at Beefeater

You’ll be able to get 25% at Beefeater this Father’s Day.

The restaurant is selling a limited edition Big Daddy Burger this weekend too so you’ll be able to use the discount on the special.

All you need to do to secure the money-off food is sign up on the website before you go.

It can take up to 48 hours to receive your unique discount code after registering on the website, so make sure you sign up as early as you can to use this coupon.

WIN a draught machine from Bella Italia

Bella Italia isn’t giving away any free drinks on Father’s Day but the restaurant is running a competition for Dad to win a home draught machine to pour pints without having to head out.

You can enter on Facebook or twitter and all you have to do is share a memory with your dad.

The competition closes on Sunday at 11:59pm so you’ll have to be quick if you still want to enter.

Prize winners will be picked at random the day after and messaged directly via social media platform they entered on.

You could win a LISA Beer Home Draught machine which can retail for up to £400, or you could win £150 worth of Red Letter Days vouchers.

There’s only two chances of winning the machine and five chances of winning the vouchers though.

If you don’t fancy entering the competition you can buy a draught beer machine from Morrisons for £150 for Dad.

But a third of Dad’s apparently prefer a gin and tonic over beer.
