How to compare bargains

IT’S important to make sure you compare prices and shop around for the best deal.

This is because just because an item is reduced doesn’t mean it’s the lowest price out there.

So to make sure you don’t miss anything there are some tools you can use.

These include platforms like Google Shopping.

It searches a wide range of retailers, including biggies such as Amazon, Currys, John Lewis and Tesco.

It also searches less traditional retailers such as eBay, Etsy and daily deals site Groupon.

You can use websites like Price Runner and Price Spy to compare prices on thousands of products too.

Also, make sure to keep an eye out for the latest offers and reductions on sites like HotUKDeals and Latest Deals.

Plus, Facebook groups like Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

Of course, do bear in mind that the item is likely reduced by this much because it’s the end of the line and branches are clearing stock.

It’s always worth giving your local site a call to check if they still have it in stock to avoid disappointment.

Plus bear in mind that the chair is still full price online, so your local branch is your best bet.

If you are unsure where your nearest Dunelm is you can put your postcode into the store locator tool on the retailer’s website.

We had a look online and found that Wayfair is selling a similar style chair for a whopping £106.99.

Elsewhere, B&Q is selling its own version with a footstool for £189.

Cheaper versions are still available but not for as little at Dunelm’s reduced price.
