Revenues at a Czech multi-national lottery operator have doubled after it bought Camelot.
Allwyn said turnover hit £3.2billion in the first half of the year – twice the £1.6billion in the same period of 2022.
Revenues in the three months to June were 115 per cent higher than a year earlier at £1.8billion.

Allwyn completed its takeover of National Lottery operator Camelot UK in February after it was awarded the National Lottery licence by regulators.
Allwyn, which is part of Czech billionaire Karel Komarek’s business empire, will run the lottery for the next decade from February 2024.
The group – which runs lotteries in Austria, Italy and Greece – has vowed to hand more than £30billion to good causes during this period.
