BURGER King is bringing back a popular item that leaves the MacDonald’s menu today.

The salty snack also left the Burger King menu late last year but due to popular demand it’s now making a comeback.

Halloumi Fries are returning on April 23 and for the first time ever they will be available to order on Uber Eats.

The announcement has delighted cheesy chip enthusiasts and comes just in time to prevent them having a total meltdown as Maccies discontinue the fries.

Facebook users have flocked to the platform to share their joy.

“Oh my fave thing from bk,” said one, “Love it,” wrote another.

A third added: “Oh I love this,” and a fourth agreed writing: “Fab”.

The chips are made with 100% Cypriot halloumi and come served with a Sweet Chilli sauce.

They are available as a 5-piece or 8-piece side and are perfect as a snack or a side.

YiaYia’s from London’s Greek Cypriot Society were invited to a taste test this week, where they awarded Burger King UK Halloumi Fries the coveted “YiaYia seal of approval”.

The Halloumi Fries return to UK menus from 23rd April 2024 at Burger King UK restaurants nationwide and for the first-time ever via delivery, exclusively on Uber Eats from 23rd April – 6th May.

It comes as we told how the McDonald’s breakfast menu isn’t available all day, so it’s worth knowing what time you’ll need to order by.

What time does McDonald’s stop serving breakfast?

McDonald’s serves breakfast every day until 11am.

It used to switch to the lunchtime menu at the earlier time of 10:30am, but bosses added an extra 30 minutes to the breakfast offering back in 2019.

Restaurants that are normally open 24 hours a day start serving breakfast from 5am. Every other restaurant kicks off the day with the breakfast menu at their usual opening times.

You can find out where your nearest branch is and what time it opens using the store locator tool.
