Giles Deacon has linked up with a leading interior design company to work on a collection.
The British fashion designer will create fabrics and wallpapers for Sanderson Design Group.
The AIM-listed firm, whose advertising features England rugby star Maro Itoje, said the collections will be launched early next year and will expand into clothing and potentially homeware.
Sanderson’s collaboration with 52-year-old Deacon follows a deal with Disney that will see it design furnishings featuring characters including Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, all of which date back to the 1930s.
Deacon said he was ‘a long-time admirer of Sanderson’. Chief executive Lisa Montague said: ‘We are delighted to be working with Giles Deacon.’
