As the colder weather starts to creep in many people will be looking for ways to keep warm without putting the heating on.

B&M has the perfect solution in the way of “Snuggle slippers” that it says will be a “game-changer” when the “proper winter weather” hits.

What’s more, they are only £8 a pair, and shoppers cannot wait to get their feet into them.

One person said: “These look nice and snuggly”.

And another commented: “It sounds like you need a trip to B&M”.

While another added: “Highly recommend these beauties”.

Meanwhile, someone else said: “I need a pair of these”.

The post on the B&M Facebook page showed a black pair with grey furry lining and a brown pair with cream lining.

On the box, it describes the slippers as “pure warmth and comfort”.

We checked to see if they were available online and at the time we checked there was also a grey pair showing on the website.

Although you cannot buy directly from the website you can get an idea of what might be available in your local store.

However, it is always best to check ahead to avoid disappointment as just because an item is in one store or showing on the website, it does not mean it will be in all.

You can find your local B&M using the store locator tool on the website.

As always, it does pay to shop around to make sure you are getting the cheapest deal.

We had a look around to see what other retailers were charging for similar slippers.

The slippers look similar to UGG slippers, however, you can expect to pay much more for genuine UGGs.

We spotted some original UGGs online in John Lewis retailing for £90.

However, if you don’t want to pay that much there are other alternatives around at a similar price to the B&M slippers.

Marks and Spencer has some online for £22.50 and discounter Matalan has some even cheaper at £6.

Primark also has its own version that retails at £9.

Shoppers have also been raving about another winter essential that costs just £10 and is described as “like hugging a sheep”.
