Rumours are rife that the Autumn Statement could bring a surprise boost for savers and investors in the form of an Isa upgrade.

But will that involve raising the allowance, slimming down the confusing number of Isas, or a rule shake-up, allowing people to save into more than one stocks and shares Isa or cash Isa each year?

On this Lunch Money episode, Simon Lambert is joined by interactive investor’s Myron Jobson to discuss what Isa changes could be on the cards and how likely they are?

Also, on the show, This is Money’s Helen Crane explains why debanking isn’t just something that happens to Nigel Farage.

Her Crane on the Case column has thrown up numerous reader problems and a recent This is Money investigation has revealed a parish council, a male voice choir and a steam train enthusiasts group affected. Helen explains what is going on.

And finally, don’t reach for that thermostat or turn that light on just yet – delay and you could earn some extra money off your bills on top of the energy saving. We explain how.
