A MAN who was too poor to feed his family now makes £15million a year.
Rob Stone was in a “do-or-die situation” in 2014, borrowing money from his parents and trying to work out how to rebuild his career.

“I remember sitting on my living room floor and getting quite emotional thinking ‘what on earth am I going to do to try and pay my way?'” he told the Shropshire Star.
In a bid to turn around his fortunes, Rob googled franchise opportunities and came across LoftZone.
LoftZone had patented a raised floor system to protect insulation when people use their loft for storage.
He had no experience in loft installations but could see an opportunity using LoftZone.
Rob watched several YouTube videos and then bought some tools, created a logo and launched Instaloft Ltd.
Rob recalled: “I put a few adverts on Facebook to see if there was interest. I told people my idea and people laughed at me as you’d expect.
“People were like ‘What are you doing this for Rob? You can’t even hold a saw properly’.”
Fast forward almost eight years and Instaloft has grown to become the largest loft storage installer in the UK.

Rob employs more than 150 people across eight depots and installs over 10,000 lofts a year.
The company has a revenue of £15m and more than £5.5m worth of assets in 2021.
Instaloft is headquartered in Telford, with regional offices in Essex, Reading, Peterborough, Newport and Wakefield.
Last year it also announced the launch of the electrical branch of the brand – Instaspark.
It comes after a dad revealed he makes an extra £2,000 a month with an online driving theory test side hustle – and he only needed his phone to set it up.
Chris London, a former driving instructor who lives in Nottingham, developed the business to have a day off from his main job.
