The mega-store sells everything you could possibly want for your home and your outdoor space, from fun kitchen gadgets to DIY craft materials, as well as decor, furniture and garden statues.

You can even pick up a pot of paint, repair tools, and snacks on your visit.

But before you splash out, the first step you should take is to have a shop around – you might find you make a saving without even stepping foot in The Range, particularly if a rival has something cheaper to offer.

B&M is a good example of a budget alternative – the store stocks many similar items, sometimes at a fraction of the price.

And luckily we’ve rounded up everything you need to know about bagging a bargain there too.

But whether you’re shopping at The Range, B&M, Home Bargains, or elsewhere, remember that it’s only a deal if you were planning on buying anyway.

You shouldn’t buy something just because it’s a bargain price, or discounted, otherwise you might go over budget.

If you’ve got something in mind though, whether it’s something new to spruce up the garden, or your bedroom is in need of a make-over, here are all the ways to bag it for the best price:

The easiest way to find all the best bargains is to make sure you’re in the loop with The Range and all the store has to offer.

The Range sends out a newsletter to fans that are signed up.

Signing up to the newsletter means you get sent offers, the latest product launches, and new seasonal trends straight to your inbox.

But beware that you might be tempted into buying things you don’t need.

It’s free to do though, and once you’ve had enough of the emails you can unsubscribe at any time too.

When you sign up to The Range newsletter you’re also entered into a £100 gift card draw – so you could use the spends on your next haul if you’re lucky enough to win.

Shop, within a shop

In some The Range stores there’s a ‘secret’ shop within a shop.

You can purchase Iceland products in over 85 of the retailer’s branches.

The budget grocery items are a must for plenty of shoppers with hungry mouths to feed back at home.

So to save you a separate trek over to the frozen supermarket, wasting time and precious petrol money, you can pick up all your favourite goodies whilst you’re browsing home and garden bargains at The Range.

Not every The Range will have the mini supermarket line though, so it’s best to check ahead before you decide that’s where you’ll complete your grocery shop.

Shop the sale

Even some of the biggest ticket items are slashed in price if you know when to shop.

For example, right now The Range has knocked £150 off the price of its bar gazebo, which comes complete with two chairs.

A good tip for online shoppers is to use the “offers” tab on The Range website.

It’s where you’ll find deals like this and all the best bargains are saved in one place so you can browse hundreds of products that have been reduced.

It’s also where you’ll find the “Mega Drop“.

Every month The Range slashes the price of products across multiple departments – right now you can save on the cost of hot tubs to kettles and everything in between.

But remember if you shop online you’ll have to factor in extra spends on delivery costs.

They can start from £3.95 and if you’re not careful you might write off anything you managed to save just by getting your products delivered to your door.

Copycat bargains

If you take a stroll around some of the HUGE The Range warehouses, you might find yourself saying “I’m sure I’ve seen that before…”

Use that to your advantage to snap up a cheaper copy of something that’s typically more expensive elsewhere, like a hanging egg chair, or garden sofa set and more.

Often you can pick up a cheaper dupe at the store and your friends and family might not even be able to tell the difference.

For example, right now The Range has launched its own tropical tiki bar for your garden.

The item costs £319.99 which is still a lot to splash out for, but it’s £29.01 cheaper than a very similar garden tiki bar three piece set that Asda is stocking right now.

Use Facebook

You can use Facebook to your advantage before you head out to shop at The Range.

Like-minded bargain hunters flock to the social media platform to post all about their latest finds and how they managed to score the best prices.

Thre’s one page called BARGAIN SHOPPERS Poundland, Home Bargains, B&M, Primark, The Range filled with fans of the budget stores.

Meanwhile over on The Range – Home, Leisure, Garden – Bargains, fans share their own tips and tricks for scoring bargains.

Facebook isn’t the only place you’ll find bargain hunting forums either – there are other online communities like hotukdeals and latest deals they are home to all the best deals.

Just search “The Range” into these sites and everything that’s on offer from the store will pop up – you can even set alerts for when any and every The Range deal goes live so you never miss a trick.

But The Range isn’t the only place you’ll find all the best budget buys.

You can also find bargains at the likes of Wilko stores – we’ve got all the tips you need to know before you browse online and more.
