But there is a catch.

Customers must first spend £40 and the deal is only relevant in store.

One shopper said: “Just checked my Morrinson’s app and found a nice little £10 off a £40 shop, great just before payday.”

However, not all app users appear to have received the offer.

Those who join Morrisons More and download the app will earn more points on selected products in store, online and on fuel.

Usually, members have to reach 5,000 points to get a fiver off their shop.

They also get other offers which can be found in the app or on coupons printed at the checkout.

Morrisons launches new feature

Morrisons has launched an exciting new feature in stores and it’s just in time for the summer holidays.

The supermarket has launched a new online currency exchange service in partnership with Eurochange.

Shoppers will now be able to order currency online and have it delivered to their doorstep or pick it up in-store while they are shopping.

The currency can be collected from one of 50 UK Morrisons Travel Money kiosks.

Morrisons Travel Money kiosks are currently available in towns and cities including:

  • Bradford
  • Leeds
  • Sheffield
  • St Helen’s
  • Edinburgh
  • Glasgow
  • Nottingham
  • London
  • Basingstoke
  • Hastings

Alternatively, the currency can be collected from one of Eurochange’s 240 branches.

It comes as Morrisons has announced its opening hours over the coming bank holiday.
