Morrisons shoppers rushing to make the most of deal slashing £10 off their shop – but there’s a catch

The supermarket’s app users have been rushing to their local store to make the most of the deal.

But there is a catch.

Customers must first spend £40 and the deal is only relevant in store.

One shopper said: “Just checked my Morrinson’s app and found a nice little £10 off a £40 shop, great just before payday.”

However, not all app users appear to have received the offer.

Those who join Morrisons More and download the app will earn more points on selected products in store, online and on fuel.

Usually, members have to reach 5,000 points to get a fiver off their shop.

They also get other offers which can be found in the app or on coupons printed at the checkout.

It comes as Morrisons has announced its opening hours over the coming bank holiday.

The early May break from work affects what time shops open and close.

Is Morrisons open over the early May bank holiday?

Morrisons will have special opening hours on the early May bank holiday on Monday, May 6.

Stores will generally open between 7am and 8am and close at 8pm. Some stores will close at 10pm.

Customers are urged to check their nearest branch’s opening hours using the store finder tool on the Morrisons website.

You just have to type in your town or postcode and it will show your closest store’s hours.
