YOUR iPhone has a hidden game that you can play any time.
It’s thanks to Google, who built the clever secret to entertain users.
Importantly, it’s not obvious – so you’d only ever find it by accident.
This sort of thing is known as an Easter Egg, a hidden delight coded into apps by developers.
In this instance, you’ll find a secret pinball game in the Google app for iPhone.
You’ve probably already got the Google app installed.
But if not, you can download it from the App Store for free.
And if you do have it, check the App Store to make sure that it’s updated to the latest version.
Once that’s sorted, load up the app and click Tabs in the bottom right.
This is where browser tabs are stored, and you may already have some open.
Close them all and then re-open the Tabs section, which will now be empy.
Wait a few seconds, and you’ll begin to see coloured shapes appear at the bottom of the screen.
Do a big swipe up in the middle of the screen to kickstart the game.
A pinball game will then appear, controlled by tapping either the bottom left or bottom right of the screen.
You’re tasked with hitting blocks to break them – while keeping the ball from dropping off the screen.
A counter will track your score, and you’ll have three lives available before it’s game over.
The beauty of the game is that it can be played offline.
So if you’re stuck without internet (heavens forbid) then you can still rack up an epic pinball high score.
