BARGAIN hunters have been left shocked by an incredibly cheap blanket that costs less than a loaf of bread.

The B&M Deluxe Plush silver rug is selling for only £1.50 at the retail giant, leaving bargain hunters in one Facebook group shocked.

The deal was revealed by Willow Buckley on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group where 2.4 million Brits are looking for the next best deal.

Buckley also shared a photo of her receipt to prove that the two rugs she had bought totaled £3.

The post received 125 likes as well as 93 commenters asking about and commenting on the deal.

“Never see deals like this,” said one commenter.

Rugs and blankets can slash your power bill this winter as they can cut down on your heating bill.

Rugs are good insulators as when placed over cold, hard surfaces or against doors they can prevent heat from escaping.

Also, putting a rug in the room in which your family spends most of its time is more efficient than keeping it in an unused rug.

One tip to keep your rug from wearing out is to spin it once a year so that you don’t repeatedly walk on the same part of the rug.

On the Bargain Hunters Facebook page, folks have also shared other cheap buys such as Sistema storage containers and cheap food.

Just in time for Christmas, parents have also revealed no the page the department store John Lewis is selling discounted kids’ toys at 40 per cent off.

The toys include the childhood classic Lego building blocks and a bright pink baby doll.
