XBOX has just announced its lineup of games coming to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service in the first half of October 2023.
The list includes a number of brand-new games arriving on the day of their release, and recent games launched within the last year.

The lineup also features the latest Batman game which subscribers can already download and play.
Gotham Knights released in October last year and the game is now launching on Xbox Game Pass less than a year later.
In this action RPG Batman is dead, and his disciples are tasked with saving Gotham City.
The game garnered mixed reviews at launch, and was critiqued for lacklustre combat and grindy game design.

Gotham Knights is sitting at a 67/100 score on review aggregator Metacritic, and has received mixed reviews on Steam.
Its shortcomings make it hard to recommend at full price, but it’s worth picking up for free via Game Pass.
It features a two-player co-op mode, so it’s fun to explore with a friend.
Apart from playing Gotham Knights’ main story with a friend, fans can also team up for the separate Heroic Assault mode.

This allows co-op play with four players in an arena environment where you complete objectives across 30 levels.
Another title that was just added to Game Pass is The Lamplighters League, a brand-new turn-based game that draws inspiration from adventure films like Indiana Jones.
You play as a team of misfits who try to stop an ancient order from taking over the world, in the beautifully recreated setting of alt-history 1930s.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is already available on PC Game Pass, but console owners will get a beta of the four-player co-op action game tomorrow, October 4, 2023.
From the creators of the acclaimed Vermintide games, Darktide offers a new Warhammer 40,000 experience where you team up with friends to shoot hordes of enemies coming at you.
The Forza Motorsport series is Xbox’s answer to PlayStation’s Gran Turismo, focusing on realistic handling and physics, and rally culture.
The latest entry in the Xbox racing sim franchise is coming as a day-one release on Game Pass October 10, 2023.
From Space is a cute co-op shooter where you team up with friends to save Earth from an alien infestation.
The game looks like a lot of fun and will be added to Game Pass on October 12.
Like A Dragon: Ishin! is a remake of a 2014 game in the series previously known in Europe and North America as Yakuza.
The original Ishin! spin-off game was never released outside of Japan.
Now the remake, which brought its story set in Kyoto during the late Edo period to the West, is coming to Game Pass on October 27.

Games leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 15
As always, new games coming to Game Pass mean that some other titles will have to leave Microsoft’s gaming service.
Here are all the games leaving Xbox Game Pass this month; subscribers will have until October 15 to download and play them:

- Shenzhen I/O
- The Legend of Tianding
- Trek to Yomi
- Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion
