XBOX and PlayStation fans have long waged wars against each other about which side has the better consoles.

Xbox fans use disparaging names like ‘Sony Pony’, while PlayStation fans hit back with the name ‘Xbots’.

While each side uses talking points like the quality of exclusive games or the price of the consoles to insult the other, everyone usually comes out thinking that their side is better.

These discussions have come to a head recently, with rumours that some Xbox exclusive games could be coming to other platforms.

Xbox fans are lamenting that it could be the end to their platform, while PlayStation fans are finding joy in there being fewer Xbox exclusives in the future.

However, former world champion wrestler Samoa Joe, has some sharp words for these types of console fans.

More in Xbox

Taking to Twitter, the veteran wrestler wrote: “Whenever I see Xbox vs Playstation talk, I just sit back and shake my head at people arguing over who gets to extort them for money every month.

“If only Blockbuster and Hollywood Video could have got their feud right, they might still be around.”

As Samoa Joe points out, few other competitive companies have such passionate fans bases as Xbox and PlayStation do.

While individuals like Taylor Swift may have drummed up avid support from fans, it’s rare for a company to get the same attention.
