Maida Vale attack only stopped when man was run over by car in attempt to save woman, according to witnesses
A woman has been stabbed to death in a west London street by a man who was then run over and killed by a car.
The Metropolitan police said it had launched an urgent investigation after the incident in Chippenham Road, Maida Vale, at about 9am on Monday.
