The shopper revealed she got a box full of meat, turkey and fish for her dogs for just a penny.

She said: “Did anyone received their 1p bella and Duke package yet? Mine has just arrived.”

“I’ve just cancelled my subscription as well. I have 3 happy sausage dogs.”

The bargain hunter said she purchased a box of £50 worth of dog food with a Bella and Duke code that was available for new customers.

The shopper said she intended to test the food with her dogs and order more for retail price if they liked it.

The post racked up over 140 impressions online.

Many Facebook users said the pet owner had found a fantastic deal, while others said they wished they spotted the bargain too.

One user said: “I got mine.”

Another said: “Gutted I missed this offer! I do actually need it for when my kittens arrive.”

“Yep ordered 3 boxes” said a third.

A fourth user said: “I got mine today.”

However one user branded the shopper as selfish claims she was putting the company out of business.

They said: “And you have already cancelled how do you expect these companies to stay in business when people do this wow.”

Other group members criticised the dog food claiming it wasn’t got quality.

One user said: “Full of fillers mainly carby veg, so very expensive after the offer. You are better following a PMR diet and adding plant matter if you want to

Another said: “Problem is if they’re not already on a raw diet, it can cause them problems if they mix so it’s either 100% raw or not at all. I’m happy to be corrected, but be mindful.”

It seems the bargain is no longer available as Facebook users have claimed the code no longer works.

One user said: “I’ve had a quick look on their website and could only see 50% off the first order.”
