Is Wickes open over the May Bank Holiday?

Home improvement retailer Wickes has revealed their store opening and closing times over the May bank holidays.

A Wickes spokesperson told The Sun: “Luckily for Brits planning to use the extra days for a DIY overhaul, Wickes’ 230 nationwide stores will be open to customers as usual over the Bank holidays

“From 7 am to 8 pm.”

There are three bank holidays in May, they are:

  • May 8, 2023
  • May 29, 2023

For the King’s coronation, Wickes store opening times vary slightly over the weekend.

  • Saturday, May 6, 2023: 7 am – 7 pm
  • Sunday, May 7, 2023: England & Wales: 10 am – 4 pm, Scotland: 9 am – 6 pm
  • Monday, May 8, 2023: 7 am – 8 pm

Opening hours may still vary from store to store depending on size and location
